After five years of research, Richard Mille launched the RM 65-01 automatic seconds chronograph.

This is the most complicated timepiece since leaving Richard Mille's workshop, and the team set out to create a technical watch that contained all the avant-garde details known to the house.

The iconic wine glass box of the RM 65-01 Automatic Seconds Chronograph has both Richard Mille's proprietary layered carbon TPT material and a mixture of red gold and carbon TPT, measuring 44mm x 49.9mm.

RM 65-01 uses color coding to match the function corresponding to the button. Yellow represents the time: hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o'clock, and green represents the date display. Orange represents the sweeping second hand of the chronograph and the accumulated volume of 30 minutes and 12 hours. The red color is related to the winding mechanism, and the second hand is blue.

The RM 65-01 built-in RMAC4 movement based on the Vaucher VMF 6710 is a high-frequency movement that runs 36,000 times per hour. It has an integrated seconds chronograph, making it one of the most complex movements in the Richard Mille series. And of course, the most impressive movement is not a tourbillon or complications.
